Safety

SUBSUB is a surface snorkelling mask with dry-top valves — not a scuba or diving device.
SUBSUB full-face masks are designed for recreational snorkelling at and just below the surface. You breathe naturally through the dry-top snorkel while you float face-down, and the dual dry-top valves seal automatically the moment you dip below the waterline — so you can duck-dive for a closer look without water flooding the mask. SUBSUB is not a scuba tank or an underwater breathing apparatus: it does not supply air, so any time you are below the surface you are holding your breath.
Dives below the surface must be short breath-hold dips only. Do not use SUBSUB for deep diving, free-diving or prolonged time underwater, and always return to the surface to breathe. Like all full-face snorkel masks, it is not intended for sustained underwater use.
As with all water activities, there are inherent risks. To snorkel safely: never snorkel alone, stay well within your swimming ability, check local conditions (currents, tides, weather and boat traffic), take regular breaks, and leave the water immediately if you feel cold, tired or unwell. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
By using a SUBSUB mask you acknowledge that you have read and understood these guidelines and that you use the product at your own risk, for surface snorkelling and brief breath-hold dives only.
